Malawi’s economic future is set to be shaped by a gathering of influential figures from government, finance, and industry in Mangochi from April 22 to 24.

The 2026 Lakeshore Business Leaders’ Summit promises to be a pivotal event, bringing together top officials and business leaders to drive national development through transparency and accountability.

The summit will feature Vice President Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah as Guest of Honour, alongside keynote speaker Nyimpini Mabunda and prelude speaker Oscar Kissanga, who will share their expertise and insights.

A lineup of prominent speakers, including Jimmy Lipunga, Agnes Sentala, and Tavona Biza, will contribute to discussions on governance, ethical leadership, and economic transformation.

This event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue and create opportunities for business leaders to engage with top government officials on sectoral policies.

By bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and development partners, the summit is expected to play a significant role in shaping Malawi’s economic trajectory.

The summit’s focus on transparency and accountability is particularly timely, given the country’s development challenges.

The event has the potential to unlock new opportunities for collaboration and growth, ultimately benefiting Malawi’s economy and its people.
