Vice-President Jane Mayemu Ansah has left the country for Luanda, Angola, to represent Malawi at the forthcoming 7th African Union–European Union Summit.
The summit, scheduled for 24 to 26 November 2025, will bring together leaders from Africa and Europe.
Its central theme, Promoting Peace and Prosperity through Effective Multilateralism, reflects the partners’ desire to strengthen collaborative efforts.
Confirmation of the Vice-President’s role was provided in a Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release dated 21 November 2025.
According to the statement, the meeting will delve into several areas where the two regions can deepen cooperation.
