Kabambe vows affordable fertiliser, change in 2025 as he campaigns in Nkhotakota

The UTM Party President, Dalitso Kabambe, has said Malawians have enough reasons to vote President Lazarus Chakwera out of office in the upcoming September 16 elections due to the suffering they have endured under his leadership.

According to Kabambe, the daily lives of both rural and urban residents have become unbearable, with the sharp rise in the cost of living making it impossible to distinguish between the challenges faced in villages and those in towns.

He specifically cited the skyrocketing prices of essential goods such as fertiliser as a major concern for many households across the country.

Kabambe assured the people that the UTM Party is ready with sound policies that will enable farmers to access affordable fertiliser without paying more than K70,000 per 50kg bag.

He made these remarks during stopover campaign meetings held at Liwaladzi and other parts of Nkhotakota District as part of his tour of the Lakeshore Region.

The UTM leader, accompanied by his wife and senior party officials, continues to draw support as he engages directly with citizens in different constituencies.

Kabambe and his team are expected to extend their campaign activities to Mkaika and Thavite in Salima District, where similar community engagements have been planned.

The UTM leader’s message centres on economic transformation, affordability of essential agricultural inputs, and providing Malawians with an alternative leadership that listens and delivers.

As the campaign heats up, Kabambe’s promises are being closely followed by both supporters and critics, many of whom are eager to see how his party would handle the country’s economic woes if given a chance in government.
