Central Poultry partners Pacific Limited in a borehole rehabilitation initiative

In a significant boost to Pacific Limited’s borehole rehabilitation initiative, Central Poultry Limited1 has pledged K400 million in support. 

The partnership aims to rehabilitate 250 boreholes1 across the country by providing essential spare parts.

Central Poultry Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Nizam Kasmany, emphasised the importance of this initiative, given the ongoing challenges of accessing clean water in Malawi.

 “Our company is committed to supporting Pacific Limited’s efforts to improve access to clean water for communities in need. The K400 million pledge will go towards procuring borehole spare parts, which will be handed over to Pacific Limited to support their borehole rehabilitation initiative,” he said.

Pacific Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Faisal Aboo, expressed gratitude for Central Poultry’s partnership, highlighting its impact on their free borehole rehabilitation initiative. 

Since its inception in 2015, Pacific Limited has successfully repaired over 8,000 boreholes, and this partnership is expected to further enhance its efforts.

The collaboration demonstrates the commitment of both companies to addressing Malawi’s water accessibility challenges and improving the lives of communities in need.
