Moyale Barracks’ struggles in the Tnm Super League continued today as they lost 2-1 to Nyasa Big Bullets at Mzuzu Stadium.

In the first half, Moyale held Bullets and the half ended goalless.

Second half started with Bullets going deep in Moyale’s half.

The Blantyre giants got a corner kick in the 50th minute of the game. It was taken by Mwaungulu and left back defender Precious Sambani headed home to give his side a lead.

Babatunde doubled Bullets’ lead in the 73rd minute. Moyale’s Hasan Upindi scored a consolation goal in 63 minutes.

End of the game, Moyale 1-2 Bullets.

In an interview, Bullets coach Calisto Pasuwa said his players missed chances, just like in previous games.

“All the games that we are playing we have many chances and we are missing them at the end of the day some of the games we end up drawing. However, we came good in the second half and we managed to get two goals,” said Pasuwa.

He added that the surface of the stadium gave his boys tough game that’s why they were losing more balls.

Prichard Mwansa, Moyale Barracks coach, said his side was not attacking much especially in the second half.

“I tried telling them what to do but nothing changed,” said Mwansa.

Following the win today, Bullets return from the North with four points after a goalless game against Karonga United last Saturday.

The Super League defending Champions are on second position with 17 points, while Moyale have 6 points from 8 games so far played and are on position 13.
