Police who were investigating serious crimes in Mzuzu on Sunday shot dead two suspects.
The suspects were shot at Zolozolo Township in Mzuzu.
Northern Region Deputy Police Publicist Sub Inspector Maurice Chapola has confirmed about the incident saying the law enforcers were investigating serious crimes.
Chapola did not identify the two suspects but said the victims were being pursued in connection with a spate of robberies.
According to Chapola, bodies of the suspects were taken to Mzuzu Central Hospital.
