In a post-match interview, Mzuni coach Gilbert Chirwa said the game was tough.

“It was a tough game all together. We played well but failed to score, we are going to sit down and polish where we can in order to do better in the second leg,” Chirwa said.

While Civil Sporting club coach Franco Ndawa said they are going to use home ground advantage in the second leg.

“We didn’t play well in the first half but we changed in second half, to us it’s not a bad result because we are going to use home ground advantage in the second leg,” he said.

The second leg will be played in Lilongwe at Civo stadium next week.
