Be Forward Wanderers supporters executive committee has threatened to cause chaos if the Bob Mpinganjira led technical panel remains in charge of the club.

This follows Wanderer’s 3-1 defeat at home to Blue Eagles on Sunday in a TNM Super League match.

Before Sunday’s defeat, supporters’ Chairman Melvin Mkunika had demanded for the firing of entire technical panel due to the team’s dismal performance in a 1-0 defeat to Silver Strikers in the quarterfinal first leg of the Airtel Top 8 Cup.

And soon after the defeat, supporters chanted “achoke, achoke”, with the supporters’ executive committee General Secretary Sam Mponda justifying the actions.

“They are justified to do this because we have quality of players but why are the results not coming? We have had enough of this and if we see no change, we will cause havoc till our demands are met.”

“Bob wasn’t there when the team assembled for preseason trainings as he was busy with the national team and this is the end result. Let him concentrate on the national team because his prolonged absence is now having a negative impact on the team,” he told the local media.

The club’s executive committee, which is led by Gift Mkandawire, refused to comment on the latest ultimatum given by the supporters.

The Nomads won Fisd Cup in the 2018 season under the leadership of Mpinganjira but the team lost several key players, including Yamikani Chester, who was very instrumental in the previous season.
