MultiChoice launches The Bachelor SA on Valentine’s Day

As one way of celebrating the Valentine’s Day with subscribers, MultiChoice Malawi on Thursday launched ‘The Bachelor’ a South Africa reality show.

The Bachelor South Africa is a show which involves Lee Thompson, the dashing entrepreneur, international model, philanthropist and former Sharks rugby player who laid his heart on the line in the hope of finding true love.

The Bachelor SA. During his search for “the one” with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life, Lee will be charming 24 beautiful South African lasses from diverse backgrounds.

To help him with his quest, Lee will need a symbol of true love for his future wife, and when one thinks of love, South Africa’s most exquisite fine jewellery company comes to mind – Friedman.

The 24 ladies with a burning desire to find love on The Bachelor SA have only just been announced on the first episode S1 episode 1 of the Bachelor SA.

Speaking to reporters after the valentine’s celebrations in Blantyre at Sunbird Mount Soche, Multichoice Malawi public relations officer Khaira Surtee said it is a way for the company to give back to their valued subscribers and their loved ones.

“We organized this function in order to appreciate our valued customers and so today being a valentine’s day we thought of combining with the launch of the Bachelor South Africa. This is the very first Bachelor in Africa and it can be watched on DStv every Wednesdays on M-NET 102,” said Surtee.

Spicing the event was live acoustic entertainment by Malawi’s renowned artist Angela Mizinga commonly known as Empress Tigris who covered some of the world’s best-known love hits.
