Just days after losing Precious Sambani to their bitter rivals Nyasa Big Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers have responded in style by beating Bullets to the signature of Babatunde Adeboye.

Babatunde (C): has joined Nomads

It has been reported that the player has signed a two and half contract with the Lali Lubani road side after being offered a K7 million signing on fee by the 2017 TNM Super League champions.

According to a copy of the contract which Malawi24 has seen, the Nigerian will be receiving K500, 000 per month during his stay with the Nomads becoming the highest paid player in Malawi.

The Nomads have also offered him a K40, 000 bonus for each Super League win.

According to the contract, Wanderers will pay the full transfer fee within 14 days of the signing of the contract.

Babatunde has also been promised an opportunity to play in Japan courtesy of the club’s agreement with their Japanese sponsors.

The player was heavily linked with a move to Bullets, but, according to reports, the 2018 Super League champions have pulled out saying they cannot match Wanderers’ offer.

The former Masters Security forward was a marvel to watch for the rookies, inspiring them to their first ever silverware by beating Wanderers in the finals of the 2018 Carlsberg Cup.

However, in the just ended season, the Nigerian only managed to score five goals in the Super League.
