DPP aspirant pledges to develop Lilongwe South West

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) aspirant for Lilongwe South West has pledged to develop the constituency if elected as Member of Parliament next year.

Speaking at a rally, the aspirant Scholastica Chidyaonga said she will address issues of damaged bridges as well as inadequate teaching and learning materials.

She added that she is concerned about the welfare of the people in the constituency and will make sure that their needs are fulfilled.

Chidyaonga said collaboration between her and the people will be assist in the fulfilment of their wishes.

“I am asking each and everyone  here to join hands and work together, development cannot come on a silver platter, meaning that people in this constituency need to collaborate and together we can achieve our visions,” he explained.

According to Chidyaonga, she also wants to make sure that women are independent and youths in the area are making the use of community technical colleges to become better leaders.

DPP Governor for Lilongwe South West Ibrahim Bwanali said they have a strong belief that Chidyaonga will bring a lot of change and asked people to vote for the aspirant.

Lilongwe South West has 99 areas and 6 wards.
