Castel Malawi holds beer festival


As a way of celebrating 50 years of Carlsberg beer in Malawi, Castel Malawi Limited over the weekend organized a three day beer festival at Lilongwe Golf Club.

The company used the event which began on Friday and ended on Sunday to thank customers for being there during the time the company was established in Malawi up to date.

Speaking with Malawi24, the company’s Senior Brands Manager -Alcoholic Beverages Widdey Nsana said it is good to see their customers happy and enjoying Castel’s products.

“We are very happy because of the morale we receive from our consumers, we do not take this for granted,” he explained.

Nsana added that there was a good impression from the customers during the event as they have not reported any challenges.

He therefore thanked their customers for being royal to Castel Malawi and asked them to continue supporting the company.

Musicians such as Lulu, Lucius Banda performed at the event while some designers and dancers showcase their talents during the day.

Castel acquired Carlsberg Malawi Limited in 2016, 48 years after  Carlsberg was established in Malawi.
