NACIT graduates 193

National College of Information Technology (NACIT) on Friday held a graduation ceremony for 193 students who were awarded degrees and diplomas.

The event took place at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.

Speaking after the ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications Technology Henry Mussa congratulated the graduates saying it is the beginning of a bright future.

Mussa said ICT is important in all sectors of the country’s economy and hoped the graduates will make their own contributions.

“ICT is the way we are progressing. In Malawi we will not left behind because these graduates will contribute a lot,” Mussa said.

In his remarks, Principal for NACIT Mathews Chapuma encouraged the graduates to make use of their skills and knowledge when they go to industry.

Chapuma added that ICT is the pillar of development which can also put country on the map.

He then asked other young Malawians who have passion in information technology to enrol with the college.
