Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has finally unveiled Flames replica kit which is already on the market.

The FA announced last month that they were launching an in-house kit for all the national soccer teams which will also be available for sale to supporters.

The kit was first used by Malawi during their 3-0 defeat to Morocco in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier and it was officially launched last month just before hosting Cameroon in the second leg of the Afcon qualifier at Kamuzu Stadium.

However, the replicas were not available on the market but the association has now announced that football fans, vendors and other retailer owners can order the replicas at a price of K16, 500.

The FA’s Commercial Director Limbani Matola confirmed the development saying the jerseys are of good quality and worthy of the price.

“There has been immense demand from the public and we are now happy to announce that the replicas are now ready to be sold. Everyone can get the jersey at K16, 500 and we are encouraging vendors and retail shop owners to order these replicas here at Mpira Village.

“In 2014, we were selling at K15, 000 and today we are talking about K16, 500, a price which is fair to all,” he said.

Malawi will travel to Comoros Island on Wednesday for their must win game in the qualifiers.
