Newly promoted Tnm Super League side Karonga United will start pre-season training at the end of this month, according to head coach Christopher Nyambose.

Nyambose who recently signed a one year contract with the team said he wants to have enough time to prepare for the start of the 2018 season.

Nyambose: We are inviting all players who feel can they can make it into the team.

He added that players who feel they have the ability to play for the Super League side can go to Karonga and train with team so that they can be assessed.

“We are inviting all players who feel can they can make it into the team. We also want to have many friendly games against Super League teams and others so that we should see where we can work on before kickoff of the league,” said Nyambose.

Karonga chairperson Alufeyo Chipanga Banda recently told one of the radio stations in the country that the club which is also known as Ingwina aims to stay in the Super League beyond next season.

Meanwhile, Malawi24 can confirm that Khumbo Ng’ambi who is among players offloaded by Be Forward Wanderers will be joining Karonga United.
