Mozambique on Friday deported 21 Malawian nationals who were going to South Africa.

Mwanza border publicist Pasqually Zulu told Malawi24 that the deportees are men and were back to Malawi because they did not have travel documents.

It is reported that they were arrested in the wee hours of Friday at Moatize roadblock whilst in transit to the rainbow nation.

The men are from Balaka, Machinga and Mangochi districts.

Meanwhile, the Immigration Department through the publicist has urged Malawians to follow proper procedures whenever they want to leave the country and also to have proper traveling documents.

The deportation of these Malawians comes days after 81 Malawian nationals were as well deported from the same country for similar offenses.
