Devotion: Devil too small for you

Bible

Luke 10:19-20 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

BibleThe scripture above says casting out demons is a normal action of a believer and you shouldn’t even rejoice as if some higher work has been done.

Rather rejoice because your name is in the book of life. Actually every born again whether they know or not can cast out a demon.

Power was already given in the name of Jesus. The Bible says we have power over over all the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us. We operate under higher power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

Walk without fear. Walk in victory. Even Judas as he was stealing money was able to cast out demons. What about a born again walking according to the Word. Devil was a mere angel of God. He was created.

He doesn’t have power of the Holy Spirit. We worship the uncreated God. Therefore no demon can be against you. Walk in that consciousness and declare with your mouth that you are free from any power of the enemy and its effects.

Use the name of Jesus to subject any condition.Philippians 2:10-11 “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Jesus already defeated the devil. All that remains with him are mere tricks. Walk in that victory of Jesus now and always. Refuse to fear anything in this world. You are superior to the devil.

Confession
I am superior to the devil and his demons. I will never fear anything. I walk in the consciousness of victory that I always have in Jesus Name. Amen.
