Malawians who sat for the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Primary Teachers Certificate of Education (PTCE) exams in the past three years will be able to collect their certificates this September.

This is according to MANEB’s announcement that it will complete the production of MSCE and PTCE certificates next month.

According to a statement from MANEB, the delay in producing the certificates was due to technical challenges which were beyond the board’s control.

MANEB says the problems have been solved and the production process is underway and is being expected to come to an end this coming August.

“The Malawi National Examinations Board would like to inform schools, parents and stakeholders that the production of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Primary Teachers Certificate of Education (PTCE) for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be completed by the end of August this year,” reads part of the statement.

The board has since apologized for inconveniences caused.
