The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has assured all teachers and police officers who took part in this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) exams that they will get their money next month.

This is according to a press statement seen by this publication and released on Tuesday, July 25 by MANEB management.

The examinations body says it has already received funds for the allowances of all the administrators in the just ended MSCE exams.

“Considering bank processes, we expect that the money will be ready for encashment after three days starting from Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

“Further, payment schedules are ready and our officers will start delivering the same to the districts from Wednesday again,” reads part of the statement.

According to MANEB, what is happening now is that the board is preparing letters instructing banks to transfer the funds to respective offices of District Education Managers and police officers-in-charge.

  1. The board failed to manage JCE and it is showing sign of failing to manage MSCE. May be the board is fit to manage nursary school tests.
