…Wizards welcome Moyale Barracks

Struggling Nyasa Big Bullets will play host to Super League defending champions Kamuzu Barracks at the sunbathed Kalulu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Winless in four league games, the Blantyre based giants will be hoping to turn things around if they are to keep their dream of challenging for the title alive.

However, they are meeting the league defending champions who are currently in top form having defeated Mafco FC 2-nil at their own backyard last week.

The two teams met each other twice last season, with KB winning the first round encounter 1-nil before being thumped 4-1 in the reverse fixture at Kamuzu Stadium.

Wizards vs Red Lions
The super league is back today.

Bullets will be welcoming back their last season’ top goal scorer Chiukepo Msowoya who was released by Golden Arrows at the end of last season following the expiry of his six month deal.

The people’s team will also be welcoming back pacey winger Dalitso Sailesi and goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe who were with the national team at Cosafa Castle Cup in South Africa.

As for the soldiers, they will be without influential forward Manase Chiyesa and left back Mustapha Salimu while Kelvin Hanganda is expected to lead in attack for the visitors.

At Mulanje Park, third placed Premier Bet Wizards will welcome Moyale Barracks in another exciting fixture.

Wizards are on song following their 1-nil victory over Mzuni FC at Mzuzu Stadium while the visitors were also victorious over rookies Masters Security last week.

With Be Forward Wanderers and Red Lions playing on Sunday, Wizards have all the chances to return to the top of the table if they can manage to beat the Mzuzu based soldiers on Saturday.

In another Saturday match, Civil sporting Club will play host to bottom side Chitipa United at Civo Stadium.

On Sunday, Wanderers will entertain Red Lions at Balaka Stadium.

The two teams are just separated by a point on the log table. They are the teams to watch in the current season, with Wanderers yet to taste defeat in the on-going season, this promises to be a cracker.

Wanderers are coming from a 2-nil victory over struggling Blantyre United while the Soldiers are coming from a 1-nil victory over Dwangwa United last week.

The Nomads have played fewer games than their opponents and they can open up a six point lead at the top over the visitors if they can claim all the points but it will not be easy considering how the soldiers have started this year’s campaign.

At Civo Stadium, Silver Strikers will play host to Masters Security while Blantyre United will welcome Kamuzu Barracks at MDC Stadium.

In other matches, Blue Eagles will entertain struggling Chitipa United at Nankhaka ground while in-form Tigers will play Moyale Barracks at Kalulu Stadium.
