Nyasa Big Bullets players have been told to sign a performance monitoring document, Malawi24 can reveal.
According to information sourced by this publication, the team’s executive committee summoned the players following another disappointing performance in Nchalo on Sunday which saw the 13 time Super League champions giving up a 1-nil lead to Premier Bet Wizards to draw 1-all.
The result did not go well with the administration which has now decided to force the players sign the document as one way of monitoring their performance.
An inside source has confided with Malawi24 that every player (excluding those with the Malawi national football team) will sign the document today.
“The players have been asked one by one to go to administration office to sign the performance monitoring document.
“Whoever refuses to sign the document, will be disciplined,” said the source who opted for anonymity.
The people’s team has only managed to collect 12 points out of a possible 24 in 8 Super League matches so far.
This has been the worst ever start to a season for Bullets in years.
In the past seasons, Bullets were registering two defeats in the whole campaign but the story is different this season as they have already registered the same number of defeats in the opening 8 matches.
Bullets’ performances this season have already seen head coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan being suspended until further notice.
