It never rains but pours for Nyasa Big Bullets FC as their poor run of form continues in the TNM Super League.

The People’s team had a journey to forget over the weekend having returned from the central region with a point from a possible six.

Bullets still cant find the winning formula.

Police side Blue Eagles and newcomers Masters Security frustrated Bullets’ endeavours to collect maximum points.

The cops triumphed one nil over the Blantyre giants on Saturday in a game that was played at Nankhaka Stadium.

Sunday afternoon, the Nswazurimo Ramadhan charges were looking forward to rain goals on minnows, Master Security, at Dedza Stadium but a barren draw was the final result.

From their seven assignments this season, Bullets have gathered 11 points which put them in 3rd position. They are followed by Wizards FC who also have same number of points with a game in hand.

Bullets are a point behind League leaders, Red Lions, who also have a game in hand having fulfilled six fixtures. Their bitter rivals, Be Forward Wanderers, are second on the table with 12 points amassed in their four fixtures.

So far only three teams have played seven games in the top flight league campaign, Bullets inclusive. The other teams are Chitipa United and their fellow rookies Masters Security. The former are anchoring the table with a point which was collected against Bullets in Mzuzu.

Be Forward Wanderers are on song having made a flying start to the season. The nomads have won all their four games played so far. They have recorded same number of points with leaders Red Lions who have played two games more.

Here are results of games played over the weekend in the TNM Super League.

On Saturday Chitipa United went down to Silver Strikers by 2 nil, Azam Tigers and Blantyre United shared spoils after a 3 all draw. Bullets went down to Blue Eagles by a goal to nil, Wanderers triumphed 1 nil over Dwangwa United, and Kamuzu Barracks drew one all with Civo Sporting Club.

Sunday afternoon, Wanderers humbled Mafco by 3 goals to nil while Bullets drew 0-0 with Masters Security. There were also no goals in a Silver Strikers and Moyale Barracks encounter as it ended in a goalless draw.
