Silver Strikers vs Nyasa Big Bullets

Four of the five TNM Super League contenders will be in action this afternoon in probably the title deciding fixtures. Sometimes, we are ‘treated’ to the most sub-par ‘Super Sunday’, sullying the good name of the event.

But other times, the scheduling gods come through for us with exciting Super League fixtures across the country.

That’s right, this Sunday is without a doubt the most exciting of the TNM Super League campaign so far.

First of all, there is table-topping Kamuzu Barracks’ trip to third placed Blue Eagles.

Silver Strikers vs Nyasa Big Bullets
Its a super Sunday.

Only a point is separating the two teams with just three games to go before wrapping up the season. A win for the Soldiers will put the four points ahead of the area 30 based Cops but any mistake will see them surrendering their top spot to either Eagles or perhaps Nyasa Big Bullets who will also be in action against Dwangwa United at Kamuzu Stadium.

Then, after all the excitement from Nankhaka Stadium, we can rest watching Bullets take on Dwangwa before another mammoth showdown at Silver Stadium between fourth placed Silver Strikers and unpredictable Karonga United.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that this Sunday could genuinely decide the title race and even the order of the top four as well as the relegation battle.

If Bullets collect maximum points and Kamuzu Barracks fail to collect full points, the former will go top but if it’s the latter, then there will be a four point gap between the two teams with two games each to play.

At the bottom, if Karonga United collects maximum points, they will dislodge Premier Bet Wizards on 13th position, depending on the latter’ result against Moyale Barracks at MDC Stadium.

It’s now or never for the title contenders.
