‘DPP is full of thieves,’says Uladi

Acting president for the People’s Party (PP), Uladi Mussa has trashed the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) administration saying it is full of thieves who have no vision for Malawi.

Mussa said this when addressing people at a political rally in Mzimba over the weekend.

He said Mutharika and his administration have failed Malawians and must resign to pave way for parties which have vision for the country.

Mussa says DPP is not helping Malawi.

“This government is evil to Malawians. How can they hike prices of maize like that? What type of leadership is this? They have failed and must pack and go,” he said.

He further blamed the DPP government for rigging votes with an aim to punish Malawians who never wanted Mutharika to attain power.

He described the behaviour as very evil, saying Malawians are suffering for a sin they never committed.

“This government is full of thieves. They rigged votes and they are still stealing what belongs to Malawians,” he fumed.

When commenting on the defection of other members from PP to DPP, the PP acting president said such people do not have a vision for Malawians.

He said it is awkward for someone to join a team of failures for the love of money.

“What we know is that our party is still strong regardless of people who defect to join the team of failures. Malawians are our concern and we will never watch them suffering,” he said.

But on his part, DPP spokesman Francis Kasaila brushed aside the accusations saying PP already failed Malawians during its term of office.

  21. When Uladi Mussa was minister of Agriculture during Bingu’s administration, he said, “join DPP to get rich”, saying as a ruling party, the DPP controlled government coffers. He messed up the Fertilizer Subsidy Programme for which he was shown the exit. Did he expect the DPP to stop stealing because he is no longer part of it? Nonsense!

  22. Do you ser what i see? Two yesrs ago when DPP was at the peak with propaganda on Cashgate, commented to say fireworks will start as we approach 2019.
These people are not just accusing. They know what they are talking about and DPP can not ask evidence to br openenly provided because it would open a Pandora Box.
While the ruling party have had a field day on PP, its now their turn.
We will hear more of these things and people will be totally confused. As i used to say: i will buy front seat to watch the show.
