Mzuni F.C and Azam Tigers played out a goalless draw on Saturday at Mzuzu stadium.

Before the game there was a one minute silence to honour Brazilian players who died in a plane crash last week.

When the match started, Tigers dominated but missed some chances especially in the first half of the game.

Tigers drew against Mzuni F.c.

The second half started on a high note as Mzuni gave Tigers defenders tough time but failed to use some scoring chances.

Towards the end both teams created few chances and at the end they shared the spoils.

After the game, Tigers team manager Robin Alufandika blamed the officiating team saying they do not know their job.

“This is the poorest officiating team. How can such things happen in our beautiful game? Sulom should into look this so that the best team should win for themselves not just because someone is behind it,” said Alufandika.

He added that Tigers’ aim is to finish the league in top eight.

On his part, Mzuni assistant coach Nebert Kazuwa praised his boys saying they played well.

“Thanks to the boys they worked hard in all departments but we are still lacking some finishers,” he said.

He added that his side are not playing just to stay in the league as their target is to finish on a good position.

This means that both teams are tied on 39 points but Tigers are on a good position due to goal difference.
