As the battle for survival in the TNM Super League rages on, Premier Bet Wizards must forget the 5-nil humiliating defeat they suffered at the hands of Azam Tigers last week if they are to grab something from their two crucial away fixtures this weekend.

Wizards: In a foreign land this weekend.

The rookies will play Dwangwa United on Saturday at Chitowe Stadium before facing last year’s runners up Mafco FC at the same venue.

Wizards’ owner and Technical Director Peter Mponda told the local media that he is very much aware of how Dwangwa United will approach the game.

“We are aware Dwangwa United is planning to get something from us because they know they will not get anything from Nyasa Big Bullets and Kamuzu Barracks as well,” he was quoted in the local press.

On position 13 in the standings with 26 points from 26 games, Wizards must at least grab something from the two encounters if they are to survive the chop.

The Chilomoni based outfit are just two points adrift of safety and any mistake from their remaining games will see them drop into the bottom three.

The battle for survival will now intensify between Wizards, Karonga United, and Civo Service United.
