Piksy: Am cool right now.

“I recently performed in some of the big shows in the country like Lake of Stars, I performed at Dan Lu’s Sweet Banana launch in Lilongwe and about to perform at Mafikizolo show which is slated for December 23 at Robin’s Park in Blantyre which clearly show that all that is being said about me having issues with anyone is not true,” said Piksy.

Asked on his absence at UMP which is one of the biggest urban music events, he said he on the day of the awards he was busy in Lilongwe helping his longtime friend Dan Lu who was launching his single with the Nigerian star K-Cee.

Commenting on his silence in the music industry he said he is the kind of artist who does not just wake up today and record a song rather he is unique, he love to take his time because he knows what his fans wants and that his song can take years without fading out in people’s minds.

“I am currently working on acoustic music with my band of which we are working on some of my past music so that people can enjoy them performing with a live band. These acoustic songs will be out next year around much next year according to our plans if God says yes,” he explained.

Born Evance Zangazanga, Piksy used to sing as a duo with Nicolas Mbonela as Atumwi.

He has recently released a new song Nikameneka which is playing in different local radio stations and television. He said he is planning to release his new album next year in September.
