Musician and lawmaker Lucius Banda has released a song that is condemning abortion and same sex marriages in the country.
In the song, Banda faults Malawi government for attempting to adopt western culture that will likely devalue Malawian culture.
Banda in the song claims that if the country wants to adopt such immoral acts because of poverty then that is against God’s wishes since Malawi is a God fearing nation.
The Balaka Parliamentarian adds that God did not create James for Adam in Eden since God knew that Eve deserved him because they were of opposite sex.
On Tuesday, Malawians held demonstrations led by Episcopal Conference of Malawi and Evangelical Association of Malawi to show strong rejection of the proposed abortion bill and to oppose the legalisation homosexuality in the country.
The demonstrations brought together all Malawians disregarding their religious backgrounds.
