It is with no doubt that with three games to wind up their 2016 Tnm super league season, Karonga United have a real battle to fight for in their hands if they are to remain in the top flight.

Oscar Kaunda’s side currently lie third from bottom with 24 points from 26 games and they are just 2 points away from safety.

Kaunda has said he is optimistic that his side will survive the chop this season.

Kaunda was speaking this after his side lost 2 nil to Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu stadium last week.

“With three games to go before we wind up our season, I’m very optimism that my side will remain in the top flight league. We will not give up we will continue working hard,” he said.

In their last three matches, they play Kamuzu Barracks at Mzuzu stadium, Epac and Silver Strikers at Civo and Silver stadium respectively in Lilongwe.

If they are to survive the chop they have to collect all the points and be hopping that Premier Bet Wizards should at least lose all their remaining fixtures.

But a million dollar question on every football fanatic in the northern region is will it be possible for Karonga United to survive the chop this season with three games to wind up their season.
