As government continues to call on young people to venture into business, 23 year old Emmanuel Banda has found himself a home in the video shooting business after studying Laboratory Technology at The Polytechnic.

Banda who is also known as Manzy Bee, is a 7th child in a family of 10 children and he developed a passion for music video shooting way back when he began watching music videos.

“Love for music grew when I started watching music videos, I just felt like making one but I believe in time and not giving up on what I love.

Emmanule is having a great story.

“After writing my final exam at Polytechnic in December 2015, I never wanted to just stay idle, I had to do something and this thing came through,” he said.

Banda who stays in Blantyre said these days young people just only depend on parents which according to him is a very bad tendency.

“Parents have a lot of responsibilities, they raised and sent us to school and sometimes it must be our turn to help them. We (youth) can start something small as I am doing and by and by it can be growing into something better.

“As a university graduate, I feared being a job seeker but I thought it wise to come up with my video shooting company which is called Bees productions. This company by and by is to be growing and it will at the end up employing a lot of Malawians,” said Manzy Bee.

In his remarks on university graduates who are just idle, Manzy Bee said that it is high time for them to wake up.

“I know every parent do send their child to school so that they should have a better paying job and live a happy life thereafter but things have changed and our mentality must also change. Graduates must focus on employing and not being employed,” he said.

The first video that this young entrepreneur produced is ‘Ngatiwe” by Brito Mota which he has stressed that he will never erase it in his memory because it gave him a start.

“I have also shot the song called ‘You so nice’ by Fringo Mantice from Lilongwe but its audio was produced by DJ Sley and will be out soon,” Said Manzy Bee.

Apart from music video shooting, Bees Productions also produce television documentaries and shoots weddings.

Recently, President Peter Mutharika urged university graduates in the country to become entrepreneurs.

Mutharika made the remarks at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe during first congregation of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Luanar).
