With few games to go to wind up the 2016 Tnm Super League season, Civo United who are in the drop zone on position 15 with 21 points from 24 matches will be battling it out today at Civo stadium with Blue Eagles who are third on the table in a battle of destiny.

It is with no doubt that Blue Eagles and Civo United have a mountain to climb if the Area 30 cops are looking to win this year’s championship in Malawi’s elite league and if Civo United are to survive the chop in the 2016 Tnm Super League season and this match will give them that platform.

Beating Civo United today will likely boost the cop’s chances of winning this season’s league after losing 2 nil to Azam Tigers last weekend whereas a win for the civil servants will boost their survival hopes in the league.

This match is promising to be an entertaining one as both sides have already promised fireworks as they have all vowed to win for their fans.

Blue Eagles team manager Gabriel Chirwa was quoted by one of the media houses in Malawi saying his team will fight for a win so that they should increase their chances of winning this season’s league.

Sparks and emotions are guaranteed to fly high, not only at the match venue but also across the country as the two will be fighting for their destinies in this season’s Malawi top flight league.

Last time the two sides met was on 11 June at Nankhaka stadium in Lilongwe and the Area 30 cops came out victors after beating the civil servants 2 nil.
