Gospel group Blessed Generation feeling the love

A Blantyre gospel group, The Blessed generation, has thanked Malawians for welcoming its songs after the release of its album this year.

The group which consist of three young people aged below 17 years belonging to Kabula Zambezi evangelical Church in Blantyre released its debut album titled ‘Ambuye amaona’ in 2016.

According to the sponsor of the group Loti Banda, the way the public has welcomed the youngsters’ talent remains a motivation to the group and it has increased their enthusiasm.

In an interview with Malawi24, Banda said the praise tracks in the album have been warmly welcomed and hopes that the comments from the public can make the group reach higher levels.

“The special thing is in the type of message, it’s praise all through it’s all about God’s greatness, and I thank the public for the warm welcome.

“Let Malawians expect pure gospel, for they (members) say their wish is to grow outside and together always for a common goal,” said Banda.

The Blessed Generation’s album consist of ten songs, which are; gogoda atsekula, Ndidzaimba, Chitsime, Mwayenera, ambuye ndinu Wachikondi, Yesu Wamoyo, Wondrous Story, Tikondwere and Chikondi cha Mbuye.

The sponsor of the group further said the grace that is in the three-member group seems to surprise the fans, a development that is sharpening their vision to release more albums and deliver the gospel to the public.

The group which consist of Precious Loti, Brenda Jere and Bridget Loti, sampled the name Blessed Generation for a purpose as there is a hidden mission that they feel God has installed in them.
