Speaking to one of the local radio stations, MCP deputy general secretary Eisenhower Mkaka declined to say what came out of the meeting saying the party is waiting for some suspended members who did not show up at Sunday’s meeting.

“As of now we have not come up with a solution because some members who were suspended from the party together with Mrs Kabwila did not show up, so we will wait to hear from them then we will come back to the public,” he said.

Kabwila refused to comment on the hearing saying it is a party issue so it is the duty of the party to comment of on the matter.

Jesse Kabwila was suspended in September together with Joseph Njovuyalema and others for planning to take over or destroy the party’s headquarters.

Meanwhile the party has told all its followers to be patient since all the wrangles going on in the party will be over soon.
