Malawi High Court Judge Justice George Bakuwa has died due to high blood pressure, Malawi24 understands.
He was one of the judges who were appointed on the post in October before the swearing ceremony took place earlier this month.
Bakuwa died on Thursday night while in Zambia, reports say.
A quick internet search shows Bakuwa among other positions served as Admarc’s director of administration and company secretary and was a private practice lawyer.
His remains will be in Malawi today and burial takes place this Sunday.
