Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) General Secretary Eckleni Kudontoni has died in a terrible road accident this morning, Malawi24 can report.
According to reports, he died after his Toyota Fortuner’s tyres developed a fault causing the vehicle to roll over several times.
It is said the accident happened at Bua in Kasungu. He was traveling from Kasungu to Karonga.
Sources say he died on the spot.
As this report was posted, the DPP was yet to make a statement on the matter.
