Mzuzu based Under-20 team Fish Eagles can now celebrate as they have secured sponsorship.
A well-known businessman in the city Yoasi Nafitale has pledged to finance the club.
Speaking Friday Nafitale said he is a man who loves football.
“I am a person who love sports and my passion is to see football growing in our country, that’s why I decided to put some funds to help in football.”
“I will start with these youngsters, as you know football starts at grassroot level, we cannot talk of football when we sideline these young players,” said Nafitale.
The businessman also added that he will form a senior Fish Eagles team to participate in other leagues.
“We want to form another team to participate in the Northern Region Football League (Simama). Our aim is for the Under 20 players to be promoted into the senior team,” he said.
