Afro music wizard Lulu returns to the commercial city this coming Friday barely a week after setting spirits high at the Miss Blantyre beauty pageant on 4th November at Comesa Hall.
The singer will perform at Premier Lodge in Chileka at an event dubbed the elegance concert, courtesy of Cream Company. The show will begin at 8 PM till late with only K2000 required for admission.
Speaking to Malawi24 yesterday, Chief Executive Officer of Cream Company Timothy Adrian Chikoti said Blantyre should expect the very best of live delivery from Lulu.
“The people of Blantyre should expect the cream of music from this artist as he promises to give a high powered show to the fans,” said Chikoti
He added that they have engaged the Lilongwe based artist because he is the definition of elegance, hence the elegance concert.
“The elegance concert has been specially crafted by Cream Company to deliver the beauty of music to the people of Blantyre. We have involved this excellent artist Lulu as he is loved by people due to his incredible ability to connect his hands and voice with people’s hearts. He is the definition of elegance as shown by his great music ability,” said Chikoti
The Mbambande hitmaker’s show comes amidst concerns from music loving Blantyre residents of failure of their beloved artists to hold shows in the city. Cream company has therefore deemed it wise to bring the Lilongwe based artist to Blantyre.
The elegance concert follows Skeffa Chimoto’s Mother’s Day show at the same venue which also came under the auspices of Cream Company.
