Constance Msiska, a Mzuzu woman with albinism has received a K24,000 boost for her banana business from the Princess Chitsulo Foundation.
Princess Chitsulo Foundation is a charitable organization founded in December 2014 whose main aim is to reach out to the poor, the elderly and vulnerable children.
Chitsulo, the founder of the organisation, was in the city to launch her Nyimbo Yanga album at Sunbird Hotel after which she managed to reach out to Msiska.
The Blantyre-based gospel artist said her foundation boosted Msiska’s business with K24,000.
“It means her business will change from having a capital of K2,000 to K24,000,” said Chitsulo.
According to her, artists have a responsibility to make sure that the underprivileged have a feel of good life.
The beneficiary, Msiska, described the donation as a dream come true.
“I struggle a lot to make ends meet for my business to no avail but today God has answered my prayer through Princess Chitsulo,” said Msiska.
Meanwhile, Chitsulo over the weekend also launched the Nyimbo Yanga album at Shaeffer ICA Marquee in Lilongwe where she gave out a good performance
