Psalm 133:1-3 ” Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments.
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
Christians should learn to live in unity in every place regardless of their outward differences. We may have different backgrounds or coming from different geographical regions but we are one in Christ.
Be able to bond with others and live for the common cause of the gospel. Dont have human enemies in Christianity.
Dont look at the person in the other church as your enemy. We have one enemy who is the devil. He is the only one we can hate but otherwise we love and we live in unity with the rest.Romans 12 : 18 ” If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
Learn to work with everybody in unity regardless of the work you are doing in the body of Christ. You may be involved in planting and another one in watering but still you are one.
1 Corinthians 3 : 8-9 ” He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.”
Thank you father for showing me the power of living in unity. I live in unity with brethren and all people surrounding me for a good cause of the gospel. In Jesus name. Amen
