An advert on social media shows that a traditional doctor from Mozambique is selling ‘charms’ that he claims will stop incessant blackouts in Malawi.

The doctor, Rio Lodzani, has disclosed that he is in Malawi to end challenges that have come in due to persistent power shortage.

Market red is one of the problems the doctor is stopping and its blackouts.

“Timathandiza mavuto awa: mphavu ku chipinda, chuma, kuthimatha kwa magetsi (We help on the following problems: manhood erection, wealth, electricity blackouts),” reads part of the advert.

Lodzani has also added that he has charms to ‘bring’ lost lovers and cure many other diseases that people are suffering from.

He has since urged Malawians to contact him through his mobile numbers for the problems he has challenged to have solutions for.

Lodzani’s charms comes at a time when Malawians have been forced to use torches and candles to chase darkness due to power cuts which according to Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) have become persistent because of low levels of water in Shire River.
