Sporting activities, interactions, competitions and music performances by notable artists were key happenings that rounded up the day.

By 10 A.M there were various sporting activities including 5-aside soccer games, flaye, mila and other games which started off with teams from townships in the commercial city.

In the dancing competition, popular crews Metics, Floor Steppers and Twist hit the stage but the Floor Steppers became victorious.

Next were performances on stage started by Bucci who dished out his latest track Wubidi and other pieces that fall to his credit.

Budding gospel rapper Suffix who was voted for by fans on Kuphaka Life Facebook page to be the next act to perform impressed on stage.

He performed Mkazi wa Kumwamba, a song that placed him in the limelight and his trending track Ndikanakhala Judge.

Next was the Home Grown African. They performed This is Africa before a sublime performance of the Kuphaka Life theme song. They were followed by Tay Grin whose performances rounded off the Kuphaka Life Blantyre activity before it heads to Mzuzu and Lilongwe later this month.

In an interview, Senior Brands Manager (Non-Alcoholic Beverages), Titha Mbilizi said the patronage was evidence that the event was all but missed in Blantyre.

‘’This year the events target the youths unlike last years’ which only gave focus on colleges. We hope that this year, they will have fun and interact as it was here,” said Mbilizi.

Most of the patrons that spoke to us indicated they wanted the activity to take place during the festive season, but as it is now the calendar of the events this year has already been outlined.
