Nigerian afro sounds king Kcee will be visiting Malawi in November to be part of the launch of Dan Lu’s single, Sweet Banana which features him.
The launch will take place at Lilongwe golf club in the capital city on 6th November. Information seen by this publication shows that the musicians will only launch the single and not an album as per tradition.
In a telephone interview with Malawi24 yesterday, Dan Lu’s manager Shadreck Chikoti confirmed the news. He said the Limpompo singer will make the Malawi trip come rain, come sunshine.
Chikoti’s assurance comes roughly 21 hours after Kcee’s video clip concerning the 6th November show was posted on Dan Lu’s Facebook page. In the video, Kcee confirms his impending visit to the warm heart of Africa.
This will be the first time for the Nigerian to perform in Malawi since the dawn of his brighter days in Nigerian music and Africa at large. He is fancied for his dancing moves besides his vocal strength which makes up recipe for hit songs.
With Sweet Banana launch on the calendar, Malawians still await the release of a song done by the Malawian boy featuring another Nigerian top act Flavour.
