The Malawi National Examination Board (Maneb) has released the Primary School Leaving Certificate Examination (PSLCE) and the Junior Certificate of Education Examinations (JCE).
Out of 255,087 candidates who sat for this year’s PSLCE, 197,222 candidates have qualified for the award of the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education. This represents a 77.32% pass rate.
Last year the PSLCE pass rate was at 67.6% while the JCE pass rate was at 67.8%.For JCE, Out of 133,113 candidates who sat for the exams, 103,447 candidates have qualified for the award of the Junior Certificate of Education. This represents a 77.71% pass rate.
