Nyasa Big Bullets on Tuesday morning paraded their three new signings at a press conference at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Karonga United defender Maneno Nyoni, Mzuzu United forward Collen Nkhulambe and Wizards FC midfielder Anzeru Joseph have all joined the peoples team while Amadu Makawa has been allowed to leave for Epac on loan for the rest of the season.
Speaking during the ceremony, Bullets Chairman Noel Lipipa said the trio will help the team to defend its Super League title this season.
“We are very delighted to have these three players on board. They will definitely add value to our club as we aim to defend our title this season,” said Lipipa.
Commenting on behalf of the technical panel, Team Manager Rahim Ishmael said he was happy with the signings as they will add great value to the club ahead of their second round campaign.
“They are good players worthy putting on the team’s jersey. As one of the technical panel member, I am very delighted with these new players and looking forward to work with them in the second round of the league as well as in the FISD cup matches,” he said.
Bullets missed out on their top transfer targets namely Yamikani Chester from Azam Tigers and Silver Strikers’ duo of Thuso Paipi and Lucky Malata.
Currently 6th in the standings, the defending league champions have been rocked with injuries to some first team players hence adding the said players to the current squad.
