Malawian youths urged to preach the gospel

Youth of Church of Central African Presbyterian Church (CCAP) in the country have been urged to be key players in preaching the gospel if the church is to massively benefit from them and for them to experience the greatness of God.

Speaking during the annual CCAP youth gathering in Mangochi, district Moderator for Lilongwe Presbytery Rev Ng’oma who was also the guest of honour said that if young people want to experience the power of God they have to fully submit themselves to his will.

Rev Ng’oma narrated scriptures from the Holy Bible in the book of Job 43:1 and Revelation 19: 4-4 that stresses on power of God.

Pastor-Collar“If you want to see the omnipotent of God you have to obey to his wills,” Ng’oma said.

In his remarks, Lilongwe Presbytery youth advisor Chancy Mwangomba said that youth are pillars of the church and their involvement in spiritual activities can play a vital role in maintaining the strength of the church.

“The church relies in you and we urge you to be at forefront of teaching the gospel,” Mwangomba said.

He added that young people must be faithful in doing the work of God since they are leaders of today and tomorrow.

One of the participants of the gathering Wallen Kanyenda said the youth gathering helped him to grow spiritually.

“The event was an eye opener to me because I have learnt how I can take care of my spiritual life and how I can Iive holy to please God,” Kanyenda said.

The gathering was organised by youth of CCAP Lilongwe Presbytery under the theme “Omnipotent of God”.

The Lilongwe Presbytery is composed of all CCAP congregation from Central Region. At the gathering were youth from Mchinji, Nkhotakota, St Pauls and Lilongwe congregations among others.

  1. Who urged that? Does he have a name? Why not mention? Dont post yo opinions. We need facts. Any church has a right to speak about their nation, because they are citizens. As long as they are Malawians i dont c any wrong doing to speak about Malawi.

    1. Churches are corporate entities designed to operate their fraud in the world.They are not citizens.

  2. The presence of God is much in the youths than in the old folks. Even Satan is targeting the youths who thinks know everything but they know nothing. This tallies with Acts 2:17. Read your bible and find out. That’s a welcome development.
