Ex 3:2-4 ” The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. He looked – and the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed! So Moses thought, “I will turn aside to see this amazing sight. Why does the bush not burn up?”When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”

Moses had seen burning bushes before but they would eventually be consumed after burning. However in this event he was surprised to see a burning bush which he was expecting to be consumed that it wasn’t consumed. There was a continuous glow. The fire kept on burning. Such should be a Christian life.

God’s word.

Every Christian has a flame of fire burning within them because of the Word of God. Jeremiah 20:9 “… But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”

This fire brings the zeal for the things of God and you don’t have to sit down. Continue praying and ministering the Word of God to others and transform the lives of others. Dont backslide. Continue in the Word of God and see your life moving forward and upwards.

Keep that fire burning in you heart through the meditation on the Word and through prayer. Don’t allow anything to quench the fire.

Leviticus 6:13 “A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.”

Gal 6:9 “So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Confession
I have the fire burning in me that cannot be quenched. As I meditate on the Word and as Pray this fire keeps on burning. I will not sit down but will win souls. I will never backslide. My life is upward and forward only . In Jesus name. AMEN
