Lucky Malata is back.

Forgotten defender Lucky Malata has made a return to the Malawi national team squad that coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan has named ahead of team’s match against Swaziland next month.

Malata had fallen out of favour of ex coach Ernest Mtawali with the Silver Strikers defender behind some defensive errors that cost the Flames Cosafa tourney future last year.

Midfielders Robert Ng’ambi and Micium Mhone whose relationship with Mtawali had gone to the dogs have also been recalled to the squad.

Suprise packages include Red Lions’s Chikoti Chirwa, Silver Strikers wonderkid Thuso Paipi, Mathews Sibale, Blue Eagles’ Gilbert Chirwa, Steve Chagoma among others.
