John 17 :17 ” Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.”
The Word of God is the truth. Know the Word and you will operate in the truth. Truth and facts are different. Facts are based on information and physical evidence but truth is based on unseen evidence in the Word of God.
Facts appeal to human senses and look reasonable. Truth appeal to the human spirit and sometimes looks unreasonable. Therefore in the truth we stick to the Word regardless of how the condition appears outside.
2 Corinthians 4 : 18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
In Exodus 14, God tells Moses to tell the Israelites to move forward when actually there was a sea full of water ahead.
The truth is God had created a road on the sea, the fact was Israelites were about to drown in the sea.
Those who were operating in the sense realm and who wanted Moses to be reasonable may have refused to move forward. Those who obeyed the truth of the Word of God moved forward and a highway was created in the sea for them. May God create a way for you based on His Word.
Another example is that humanly speaking you may look at yourself as a failure, with failed background and so on but the Word of God says as a child of God you are more than conqueror(Rom 8:37). Stick to the Word and you will start living a victorious life.
The people who operate under human senses only accept facts and cannot receive truths because they look foolish to the flesh and can only be spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2 : 14 ” The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
You are what the Word says regardless of your physical condition. Stick to the Word of God. Its the truth for you.
