Despite seeing more of the ball, Max Bullets struggled to break through, as they were playing at a sluggish pace and finding no space behind a compact Mafco fc defence.

But their effort was awarded after the quarter hour mark after Frazer Menyani pulled a goal back for Max Bullets.

As the game was heading towards the end of the first half, Pilirani Kadam’manja scored Max Bullets’ second after the soldiers defence was caught napping in the line of duty and the first half ended 2 all.

After the break, MTV Max Bullets continued from where they stopped in the first half as they were playing good attacking football.

Menyani then scored Max Bullets’ third and his second of the afternoon and it was 3-2 in favour of MTV Max Bullets.

After that goal, Mafco pressed for an equaliser but Max defended well as they did not allow the soldiers to break their defence.
