All set for premier Christian leadership conference

As part of equipping people with leadership skills in these uncertain times, International Christian Assembly (ICA) has organized a premier leadership conference scheduled to take place in Lilongwe.

The conference will be held from 2nd to 3rd August at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe under the theme “leading in uncertain times.”

The conference which is dubbed “Catalyst” is an annual event which targets and attracts leaders from all walks of life.

Speaking in an interview, ICA Executive Pastor Dr. Andrew Mkwaila said all is set and that this year’s conference will be of great significance to Malawi nation which currently is going through economic hardships.

“People should expect to be encouraged, people should expect to be given new skills and knowledge. There will be a variety of speakers, pastors, Bishops, people from the education background, technology sector, business and economic world, different things for everyone,” he said.

Mkwaila added that people should expect to get opportunities for life long learning, opportunities of networking with other potential people who are making a difference in life.

Speakers on the menu will include Bishop Andrew Dube, Bishop Kepha Omae, Bishop Solomon Adebayo, Dr. Enson Lwesya, Rachel Sibande, Dr. Andrew Mkwaila and Henry Kachaje.

According to Dr.Mkwaila, every participant is required to pay K25 000 as a participation fee for both days.

Mkwaila said since they started organising the event in 2014, Catalyst conference has attracted an average participation of 80 key leaders from various international and local NGOs, business owners, key leaders in various denominations and churches as well as para church organisations.
